WASHINGTON, D.C. — Last night, in a primetime address built around a six-year-old grievance, President Trump devoted the nation's attention to relitigating an election he lost instead of answering for the rising prices at the pump, the grocery store, and the kitchen table that continue to squeeze hardworking families.

"A leader confident in his record doesn't need to relitigate six years and dozens of court losses. He governs. Hardworking families all over the country continue waiting for this administration to lower grocery bills, lower gas prices, and build an economy that works for them. Instead, we get another speech about the past, while the challenges they face today remain unanswered, and a costly war with no end in sight stretches ahead. President Trump hopes Americans will spend their time questioning elections. It won't work. Latino voters won't be distracted by Trump's desperate claims.
